Soft Tissue Therapy

During your treatment, the focus will be on the areas of your body where you can feel tension and pain. The massage aims to release the knots in your muscles and restore their elasticity. Your therapist may use his or her fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows and forearms on the areas where you tension needs releasing.

For the best results, your massage therapist will use a combination of oils with massage strokes that are slower and deeper to that of a classic massage to cause friction  and manipulate soft tissues including muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Your muscles will need to be relaxed and you may be asked to breathe deeply to enable your therapist to reach the deeper musculature.
